More exploring, more learning

Sometimes most of us think that there are very little activities babies can do, especially since they are still mastering basic skills. But, in fact, there are lots of things we can do with babies. Their little brains are absorbing their surroundings and experiences 24/7.

It’s important we give them as many varied opportunities to develop their skills as possible. And why not, using what we have in the kitchen.

With this activity they keep learning about the world around them and they begin to play pretend. Also, babies’ language development is rapidly growing even before they are able to make words.  Help their vocabularies by singing rhymes with your infant, use words about fruits, shapes, sizes, in and out etc..

In this first activity Lara is playing in and out. “Lara, put it in and now out”, “very good”, these kind of simple games increase their vocabulary and add excitement to the playtime-learning moments.

The second activity is about touching and smelling the different fruits and veggies. Also use the words big, small and review in and out.

I hope you and your baby have a great time playing and learning!
